| Partnership Highlights!
- Complete and submit an application form to your Diversity Leader or in Saint Paul to Steve Severance before May 30th to get approval. This must be done before any confirmation for the partnership can happen.
- Contact your partner, after approval from your Diversity Leader and Saint Paul Inter district Classroom Partnership Coach Facilitator, as soon after as possible to set up a meeting time.
- Exchange broad ideas and develop inclusive/academic objectives in your plan for implementing the project(s).
- Remember to keep an academic rigor focus when planning. In other words, ask yourself how does this partnership meet standards? Does this partnership enhance the students added value of a meaningful cultural enrichment? Does this partnership enrich the curriculum?
- Remember the exchange of students will need some pre planning and preparation/discussions about the the 3 R's for Partnerships

- RESPONSIBILITIES
- REWARDS
The purpose is for meaningful exchanges, getting to know/understand/appreciate others cultures. This is a time for teachers to get actively involved in the process as well.
- Before a partnership form is submitted to the Diversity Leader or the SPPS Inter district Classroom Partnership Coach Facilitator for approved, the building Principal is required to sign the application. Keep you Principal apprised of the planning times, activities, and event dates.
- Please include in your proposal the number of planned times for your interactive partnerships with a partnering school because busing trips must be pre-approved in the spring for the following year.
- Planning time, budget items, and other related costs to enhance/support the exchange, requests or questions should be submitted with an application form to your Diversity Leaders or in Saint Paul.
