WHY ARE WE DOING PARTNERSHIPS?


Partnerships are Saint Paul Schools and the *East Metro school districts building partnerships and collaborations which create or enhance inclusive rigorous learning environments that result in increased cultural and academic outcomes. The goals of the partnerships between urban and suburban students are to learn together (academic focus), learn about each other (integration focus), learn about cultures (cultural focus), and learn to live and appreciate through understanding of cultures (socialization focus).
